The First Snow!

Well we got four or five inches of snow the yesterday and man it came down hard at times. I promised Makayla that when she got home from Diana's we would go play in the fresh snow. So of course the first words out of her mouth when she got home were "let's go outside". So I got out her snow gear and away we went. She had a blast running,rolling,throwing and eating the snow. After about forty-five minutes I could tell she was starting to get cold and her gloves were soaking wet so I knew her hands had to be hurting. I had to break the news to her and tell her it was time to go inside and sit by the fireplace to warm up. After ten minutes she finally gave in but only after I promised I'd take her out tomorrow. I hope this snow is around Sunday so we can play in it while it's light outside and build a snowman.
